Applications for postdoctoral fellowships are being considered for organic chemists or medicinal chemists who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must have a good background in synthetic organic chemistry. The position would carry a maximum of three years of support. The project would involve structure-based design and synthesis of selective opioid ligands, and would include substantial interaction with scientists who are working on site-directed mutagesis and molecular modeling of opioid receptors.
